Job description

Maintains effective department staffing levels, identifies department staffing needs, selects candidates; coordinates department schedule requests/changes; compiles and verifies employee payroll information required; responsible for direct supervision of team members; prepares and conducts employee performance reviews and/or corrective action documentation in a timely manner; conveys expectations clearly, identifies employee development and continuing education needs, coaches and develops employees under their direct supervision (40%). Develops, maintains, and implements procedures and workflows; evaluates and improves the effectiveness of procedures and workflows on an ongoing basis; collaborates with EHR, IT and Clinical Operations to build and maintain clinical reports (10%). In close collaboration with Director, Clinical Practice Committee and Chief Medical Officer, supports our efforts in achieving managed care quality goals and implementation of best practices; provides guidance regarding population management; serves as an advisor to care teams and care coordinators; works with providers and staff for health status evaluations and improvement, clinical pathway design, outcomes criteria development and development of screening tools to identify high risk patients; educates staff and providers on quality measures and performance reports; monitor department and provider level quality performance with Clinical Managers (20%). Provides ongoing support in working with the payers to understand claims and utilization data and targets our efforts in bringing down costs and achieving outcome measures; collaborates in identifying, implementing, and maintaining clinical information systems to support quality outcome goals; provides analytical support in helping evaluate performance-based contracting with private and government payers (15%). External - ensures compliance with external agencies, payors, state, and federal requirements; internal - participates in planning the narrative for metrics discussions in an effort to understand and translate the quality outcome, patient safety and patient experience data into actionable items for providers and clinical staff (15%).


Requires 20% of travel among Mankato Clinic locations within a 20-mile radius from Mankato, MN.


Position allows a hybrid workplace model and requires the employee to work from 1421 Premier Dr, Mankato, MN 56001 one day per week.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Job Requirements:


Requires a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Information Management, or health-related field and at least 3 years of experience as a Clinical Data Analyst, Health Informatics Analyst, or related health data analytics occupation.


Must possess at least 3 years of experience with each of the following:

Requires 20% of travel among Mankato Clinic locations within a 20-mile radius from Mankato, MN.


Employment is contingent on successful completion of drug screen, health assessment, and background check.
