Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Centers Department of Radiology is seeking an
Advanced Abdominal Imaging Radiologist Imaging to join our practice in the
beautiful Upper Valley of
New Hampshire . The ideal candidate will be engaged in our academic mission and the teaching of students, residents, and fellows. Clinical responsibilities will include the interpretation of basic and advanced abdomino-pelvic imaging for staging and resectability of malignancies, benign tumors, traumatic, inflammatory, and infectious conditions. An interest in the performance of CT-guided procedures would be desirable, but not required. The Advanced Abdominal Imaging section supports five weekly multi-disciplinary conferences.
Leadership opportunities are available for candidates with outstanding clinical skills and demonstrated experience, including the potential for an appointment as Body Imaging Section Chief. The successful candidate will join an academic practice comprised of over 40 radiologists. Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is the only academic medical center in New Hampshire, providing tertiary care services for our region, and serving as the only Level 1 trauma center in the state. State-of-the-art imaging equipment includes 5 MRI scanners (2 x 1.5T and 3 x 3T magnets), 5 CT scanners, PET/CT, and 7 US machines. We use a fully integrated PACS and EMR that includes electronic ordering and protocolling. The radiology department also provides teleradiology and on-site coverage for multiple affiliated hospitals throughout New Hampshire and Vermont.
