HRIS Analyst
Job Summary:
The HRIS Analyst contributes to the maintenance of HR systems, data and process to enable effective reporting and utilization of information to further business objectives. This role will support two distinct client groups, ESPN and Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology. The ideal candidate is solution-focused, has strong attention to detail, can support multiple priorities and has a desire to learn. The HRIS Analyst will work closely with HR teams like Business Partners, Compensation and Workforce Analytics as well as functional partners like Finance to ensure accurate data is maintained in both Workday and SAP and information is available for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform workforce planning and headcount administration for both clients
- Audit employee/headcount data and proactively coordinate adjustments as needed to ensure Workday and SAP are accurate
- Learn and utilize EIBs/Smartsheets to process mass changes to cost center, location, leader and other data elements in Workday
- Partner with HRBPs to identify and confirm workforce and open positions
- Produce reports for clients in HR, Finance and other areas
- Ensure new headcount tracking information is accurately reflected in Workday
- Be familiar with Workforce Analytics & Insights work and utilize their information as needed
- Submit off-cycle payment requests for Talent and others
- Provide support to Talent with payroll and tax questions, contract increases, fees and commissions etc.
- Create and submit functional/technical business requirements for enhancements to PTO or pay policies in Workday and SAP
- Conduct integrated testing of system enhancements and upgrades
- Look for opportunities to improve efficiency of HR/Workday processes
- Respond quickly to fulfill occasional time-sensitive requests
- Answer occasional payroll and tax related questions
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of HR or related HRIS experience
- Strong knowledge of HR systems of record (Workday preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and change course of action quickly
- Demonstrated attention to detail and follow-through skills
- Strong technical acumen and willingness to learn complex systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to effectively handle and maintain confidential information.
- Passion for continuous improvement and continued learning
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience
