Job description

The assignments are project oriented, meaningful to the department and company, allowing interns to take responsibility for a major task, and gain experience.
Responsibilities :
- Work with the Industry 4.0/ IoT functional team on the implementation of the Norica Monitizer software for process control across the corporation.
- Prepare documentation on work instructions, software FMEAs and training manuals for the process control software.
- Track, record and report progress.
- Learn the mechanics of the CIM and Norigate hardware.
- Suggest KPIs and improvements to the Industry 4.0 group on the implementation.
- Help in the development of the A.I. phase of the software implementation.
- Communicate required changes to appropriate plant personnel.
- Any other duties, as assigned.
Experience and Educational Requirements :
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university or college.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas or similar field of study:
Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Software Engineering. - Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week and travel to Grede facilities.
