Job description
The Consumer Products division of Hasbro European Services provides services for the licensing business of Hasbro International Inc. (HII). We are currently recruiting for this position. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimising overheads and managing expenses effectively, contributing to the financial health and efficiency of the organisation. The purpose of this role is: To ensure managed expenses budgets/actual/forecast spend is planned (using zero based budgeting methodologies), controlled and communicated to cost centre managers. To control overheads; optimise costs, promote best practices in terms of forecasting. Ensure cost centre managers have visibility of their costs and are accountable for over spends and finding savings. Global Entertainment (entities in US, Canada and UK) Responsible for the annual budget and monthly Forecast in conjunction with cost centre managers. Highlight areas of concern and ensure spend remains within overall budget. Specifically: Responsible for headcount information and ensuring any recruitment is in line with budgeted headcount. Prepare and submit monthly forecasts in line with agreed deadlines. Review open order reports, parked list and prepare monthly accruals. Prepare monthly bonus calculations and any other ad hoc accrual and prepaid calculations required for month end and year end. Review Actuals by cost centre and prepare bridges/reconciliations vs prior year/forecast/budget and be able to articulate variances with meaningful commentary Approve purchase requisitions and invoices. Manage spend to ensure it remains in line with budget and follow up any potential issues with relevant cost centre manager. Communicate cost centre information to cost centre managers and respond to any queries. Review payroll and liaise with Payroll departments for any variances Ensure updated transfer pricing study exists and liaise with US Corporate tax to ensure tax compliance with different intercompany transactions Review Entertainment costs in detail (e.g. utilities bills) with view to find savings. Liaise with other finance managed expenses teams to ensure any rebills of shared/centralised services are forecasted and variances are understood
