Job description
SUMMARY
Support ProEx Claims Advocates, brokers, HUB colleagues and clients in a consistent and professional manner, as we strive to fulfill HUB's professional obligations for claim reporting, advocacy, and to maximize insurance coverage for our clients.
SALARY
Salary for this position is $90,000.00
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare claim notifications, track a large volume of correspondence, and update internal records for claims noticed under ProEx insurance policies (such as Directors' & Officers' Liability, Fiduciary, Employment Practices Liability, Kidnap/Ransom & Extortion, Cyber Liability/Data Security, Crime, and Errors & Omissions). Track and prepare claims data for claims team. Regularly communicate with carriers, clients and colleagues regarding status of claims, coverage, and other claims-related issues.

Ability to be proactive and work efficiently under short deadlines when necessary.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Competence to read and analyze a large volume of correspondence, and execute appropriate action items.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate degree mandatory.
Paralegal certification preferred, but not necessary.
Insurance experience preferred, but not necessary.
Computer literacy required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to read and process a large volume of written material quickly and accurately is mandatory.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic mathematical skills.
REASONING ABILITY
Excellent analytical, negotiating, and organizational skills. Attention to detail vital.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Continuing education as required by California State law.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Active professional office environment. Requires ability to work well with others.
