Description
To serve as a point of contact for all issues related to the Balluff US, Canada, and Mexico websites. Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure successful product and marketing initiatives online and to work with the marketing communications team to develop strategies for managing digital programs to increase brand awareness and generate online traffic.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Minimum Skills & Abilities
Education/Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Website Management or a related field plus at least two years of relevant experience.
- Experience with online Web-based communications and social media platforms
- Experience with email marketing and marketing automation technologies and software
Computer Software Skills:
- Must have excellent PC skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Web technologies, such as HTML, XML, XSL, java script and CSS.
- Proficient in Content Management Software, as well as graphic and web development software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, or Flash) preferred
- Knowledge of database connectivity preferred
- Google Analytics Certification (preferred)
- Must have a strong knowledge of search engine optimization and best practices for email marketing, web, and social media
- Experience with Email or Marketing Automation Software
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and WordPress
Other:
- A technical knowledge or familiarity of Balluff products and applications is ideal
- Extreme attention to detail and good writing skills
- Good planning and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate, self-manage and prioritize multiple tasks, assignments, and projects at once
- Strong leadership and project management skills. Must work effectively in both an independent and team-oriented work environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels, in both written and verbal form
- Ability to maintain consistency and work within corporate identity guidelines
- Willingness to learn new technologies
