Job description
A leading global manufacturing company is looking for Senior Environmental Specialist, Air to join their team in the Waterloo, IA area. The individual will lead the air compliance function and be responsible for reviewing processes, technical and regulatory issues, and executing permit functions across several facilities in the area.
The Role:
Provide technical expertise, and develop, implement, and support programs and tools that help ensure proactive compliance
Ensure that air quality programs, procedures, training, work practices, and controls are effectively implemented and developed up to client standards
Conducts all necessary actions regarding Title V, Emissions Reporting, PSD permitting and other relevant technical and regulatory issues, etc.
The Candidate:
B.S. or M.S. Degree (preferably engineering or science-related)
10+ years of work experience, particularly with air quality compliance/regulations.
Experienced in air permitting and regulations, including; PSD & Title V.
Working knowledge of federal, DNR and state environmental regulations.
Project management experience interfacing with regional stakeholders.
