job summary:
Electrical Automation Technician for a leading industrial manufacturer based near North Charleston, SC. Role is responsible to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant automation equipment. To be considered - must have electronic maintenance & repair experience within an industrial manufacturing environment. This is a permanent opportunity. Moving assistance is available. Required Qualifications:
- Must have electronic maintenance and repair experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read and interpret electronic/electrical drawings and specifications
Preferred:
- Associate degree in electrical or Electronic Engineering Technology, OR Military-equivalent electronics training and certification
- Knowledge of PLC logic, industrial automation & control systems

responsibilities: - Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous improvement of safety, quality, and productivity
- Inspect, maintain, repair motor control systems for plant equipment
- Perform motor drive system preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on Siemens and Rockwell families of drive systems
- Troubleshooting equipment using PLC interface for diagnostics.
- Assist in the installation, start-up, and commissioning of new equipment

- Minimum 2 years of experience
