Job description
Celestine is a seasonally-focused Mediterranean restaurant on the Dumbo Waterfront. We offer thoughtful and elegant food with warm, unpretentious hospitality. We’re looking for a creative Social Media Intern who will work with our marketing team to expand our social presence. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company’s growth and see many aspects of the hospitality industry. This position is flexible and part-time with an average of 15-20 hours per week.
In this role you will be asked to:
- Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
- Expand our presence on Instagram, and launch Tkitok/other new socials
- Manage weekly and monthly editorial calendars
- Track social media engagement and adjust strategy using analytics as a guide
- Assist on influencer campaign strategy
- Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms
- Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
- Create compelling graphics to share across social channels
- Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience
- Help create and edit short-form videos
- Develop new strategies for increasing engagement
- Assist with photo/video content shoots
- Ensure brand message is consistent
Qualifications:
- Experience or interest in content creation, social media, and brand marketing
- Ability to capture high quality photo and videos for content and a pulse on social media trends
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
- A deep knowledge and love of food, wine, and restaurants
