Southwire Job Description

Objective -

The Field Sales Representative is responsible for selling the company’s products using a wide range of communication methods including Virtual selling, direct sales, telephone, e-mail, text, etc.

Key Responsibilities (List in order of importance; max 10 responsibilities) -

·Responsible for all Commercial, Industrial including Factory Automation, CVDE, Tools & Equipment product

categories within their areas of responsibility.

·Responsible for promoting and meeting plan with Southwire initiatives, such as, SPEED, CoilPAKs, Barrels, Factory Automation

·Contact customers to solicit orders within an assigned territory.

·Develop relationships with key decision makers and influencers.

·Develop strategies for maintaining or developing accounts.

·Educating and field training end users on new products and labor-saving solutions

·Split time 50%/50% between calling on distribution and calling on electrical contractors and engineers.

·Accountable for meeting business plans within territories.

·Introduce end users to new products in hopes of promoting that product into the specification.

·Conduct sales seminars for customers to familiarize them with Southwire products.

Location Details-

Remote: Must live in North Carolina or South Carolina - preferred 2/3 hours from Charleston, SC/ Myrtle Beach, SC/ Wilmington, NC

Education-

Bachelor's Degree

5 Years of Experience; Field of Expertise—Sales
