Job description
The BAE Systems York, Pennsylvania site is a part of the company’s Platforms & Services business sector. Platforms & Services provides design, development, production, through-life support and upgrade of armored combat vehicles, tactical wheeled vehicles, naval guns, ship combatants, commercial vessels, missile launchers, artillery systems, and munitions. We are currently looking for a Materials Strategy Analyst. As a Materials Strategy Analyst you will;
- Develop routine and adhoc reporting for functional metrics, KPIs, and discuss project support, through the use of automated dashboards, point-of-use reporting, and spreadsheets.
- Prepare, maintain, and present executive level summaries and decks on topics ranging from functional overviews, to quarterly reviews to improvement initiatives and special projects.
- Partner proactively with Materials managers to ensure their teams' data needs are met.
- Develop the culture of databased decision making and data literacy within the team.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience or equivalent experience.
- Intermediate Excel skills (use of nested functions for cross referencing, aggregating, and text manipulation)
- Expertise in developing reporting and dashboards in at least one business intelligence platform.
- Knowledge of ERP transactional elements and structure for material related transactions (Receipts, Move Orders, Inventory Transfers, Adjustments, Work Orders, MRP Demand, etc)
- Experience producing executive level PowerPoint presentations with clean aesthetic visuals, and concise information suitably tailored to target audience.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - High complexity manufacturing experience
- Advanced Excel Experience (Advanced automation, custom VBA scripting)
- Oracle ERP Experience
- OBIEE / MS PowerBI experience
- Extensive knowledge of ERP demand planning logic
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $71600 - $121700

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
