Responsibilities
Peraton seeks a Cyber Systems Architect to provide Cyber Training Range support. Location: Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will support the Office of Personal Responsibility (OPR) Executive Agent (EA) Cyber Training Ranges (CyTR) to develop, coordinate, integrate plans to Synchronize Activities across the designated Cyber Training Ranges and establish appropriate training infrastructure architectures and standards to support the EA for CyTR and DoD Cyber Workforce Training Readiness Requirements in
accordance with the DoDD 5101-19E.
Tasks include:
- Establish a standard language (data exchange protocol) for representing and communicating cyber event and threat data during a cyber-range event. The language must be compatible (machine-readable) with the JIE and coordinated with the DoD CIO,and DoD Component heads
- Certify designated Cyber Range Enterprise Assessments
- Develop and integrate the cyber training and test infrastructure interface standards, integrate new cyberspace operations capabilities, architectures, and modernization efforts, and other requirements
- Assist with integrated, dynamic cyber defense, coordinates and maintains security toolsets to support organizations’ continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization programs.
- Establishes a framework by which cyber risk can be measured and quantified in the marketplace.
- Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and integration of a DoD IA architectures, systems, or system components
- Ensures that the architecture and design of development and operational systems are functional and secure.
Qualifications
Required:
- BS/BA and 12 years, MS/MA and 10 years of experience or Phd. and 7 years. Will consider HS with 16 years of experience.
- Requires 3 or more years of experience performing Capacity Management for a large global enterprise.
- COTS system administrator.
- Excellent knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
- General application of concepts and principles.
- Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
- Knowledge of Relational Databases, SANs, VMs, various applications, server administration, Windows, and Linux OS.
- Experience in administration/power user of e nterprise performance and capacity management tools.
- Requirements gathering and analysis.
- Documentation and presentation of capacity and performance data/information.
- Represents organization on specific projects.
- Requires active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Poly and MEAD
- Work location is at the NSA Friendship Annex (FANX) in Linthicum, MD (in April). While completing Polygraph (CI) and MEAD, work location is Fort Belvoir, VA.
Prefer:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM field a plus
- Security+ Certification a plus

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
