The
Driver under general supervision, transports tanker trucks locally between vendors and our Richland facility and then offloads at our location. A successful applicant will be responsible for working safely and efficiently as possible in our continuous operation laboratory.
Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions: • Collect and deliver raw potato starch slurry from potato processing facilities in truck/tanker in Oregon/Washington.
• Safe loading/unloading of slurry.
• Adhere to all CDL requirements and statutes.
• Adhere to all roadway laws and regulations.
• Testing of product for baume/ph & fiber test.
• Ensuring equipment is pre/post trip checked daily.
• Recording of miles traveled during shift.
• Fuel equipment, as needed.
• Perform scheduled monthly training by the due date.
• Perform monthly cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Ability to drive in all types of weather.
Qualified candidates will have: Position type and expected work hours: Associate, Workdays: Friday through Tuesday. Hours: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Education and experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CDL with tanker endorsement.
• 2 years driving of CMV and 1 year tanker experience
