Baltimore Washington Medical Center (BWMC) , a member of the University of Maryland Medical System , and a leading provider of pediatric comprehensive care in Anne Arundel County. We offer a unique Centering Parenting Program and are looking for a BC/BE Pediatric Physician to join its outpatient pediatric primary care group in Glen Burnie, MD. In this position, you will enhance and improve the care for our youngest patient populations and their families.
Job Description
Outpatient Pediatricians providers will:

* Provide focused preventative care, such well-child and sick visit check-ups, sports physicals and immunizations.
* Provide centering program visits between the ages of birth to 2 years of age, then annual checkups from ages 3-16. Our centering program consists of 9 visits where children and parents can meet for fun, interactive learning to build friendships, reassurance and a support system during pediatric developmental milestones.
* Full time weekday schedule
* No call coverage, weekend or after hours.

Qualifications

* Possess a Medical degree, completion of medical residency.
* Possesses and maintains current Board Certification or Board eligibility within Pediatrics.
* Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required or ability to acquire an unrestricted license.
* Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
* Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
* Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
* Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
* Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, organization skills are required.
