Position Title: *EASTON - REFRIGERATION MAINT WORKER - 7AM-3:30PM - ON CALL

Performs maintenance and repairs on ammonia systems to provide refrigeration for industrial processes. Performs PM maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, Compressed air systems and freezers. Must be able and willing to work weekends, holidays and during plant emergencies. Able and willing to work on boiler systems. Must be able to read and understand CAD drawing and PPIDs.

Essential Duties Include the following:
Adjust controls to isolate and clear broken lines for repairs or evacuates and shuts down system.
Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.
Connect hose from supply tank to compressor to replace coolant or to add oil.
Implement McCain Competitive Edge and Lean Manufacturing practices relative to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People (SQCDP).
Make scheduled PM inspection of equipment and system to observe operating condition and need for repair or adjustment.
Must perform and pass annual respirator fit test.
Observe temperature, pressure, and ampere readings for system and equipment, and adjusts controls to obtain specified operation of equipment.
On-site Requirement - Must perform duties onsite.
Open valves on equipment such as compressors, pumps, and condensers to prepare system for operation and starts equipment and auxiliary machinery.
Operate forklift in accordance with company policy.
Perform maintenance and repairs on ammonia gas cooling systems to provide refrigeration for industrial processes.
Record temperature pressure and other readings on log sheets at specified intervals.
Repair pumps, compressors, condensers, steam systems, and defective parts using hand and power tools.
