Responsibilities
The ELECTRONEURODIAGNOSTICS DEPARTMENT at the Barrow Neurological Institute ® ( BNI ) / St. Joseph’s Hospital is responsible for all Inpatient and Outpatient electro neurodiagnostic testing including: EEG / SSEP / VER / ERG / BAER testing. The EEG department is a busy testing lab averaging 520 procedures per month with a staff of 7 technologists. Technologists are also responsible for the clinical component of the 5 bed Pediatric and 10 bed Adult Epilepsy Monitoring Units. Standard shifts are 8 hours which may vary depending on department scheduling and testing. The EEG and EMU departments are 24/7 units which require a technologist to be on call. All EEG Technologists are ABRET Board registered or ABRET Board eligible.
JOIN US NOW as we are seeking a dedicated EEG TECH SPEC PROC who is passionate about the health and well-being of our patients to perform specialized neurophysiological testing procedures.
AA Electroneurodiagnostics degree from an accredited program or completion of accredited program, Registered EEG Tech Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist ( REEGT ) or Registered Evoked Potential Technologist ( REPT ) and Certified in Neurophysiologic Monitoring ( CNIM ) or Nerve Conduction Technologist ( NCVT ) under ABRET National registrations and 2 years clinical experience after the completion of second ABRET registration required. Bachelor degree strongly preferred.

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years current work experience as a technologist performing EEG / EVP . Clinical rotations associated with an accredited ASET program.
High School Diploma Required
Certificate of completion from an accredited ASET program for EEG or AAS degree in electroneurodiagnostics from an accredited ASET program
Basic computer skills and MS Office required.
Neuroworkbench/ Persyst/ Cerner Preferred
Required: ABRET Registration: R. EEG and one of the following: R.EP, CLTM , CNIM .
Pay Range
$33.60 – $48.73 /hour
