Description:


The microbiology study director in this role would be working in a fast-paced environment where they would be responsible for effectively study direct and lead laboratory-based microbiology studies and testing while evaluating a variety of medical devices. Test methods would include those around sterility assurance (bioburden, sterility, endotoxin testing, etc) and cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization validation studies for reusable devices.


-Performs study director functions outlined by FDA GLP (21 CFR part 58) for GLP studies, and serve as technical leader in ensuring proper execution of additional microbiology testing (bioburden, sterility, endotoxin, biological indicators, etc)


-Collaborates with technical advisors, sales, and microbiology lab team to make test recommendations according to microbiology industry guidelines/standards (ISO 11135, ANSI/AAMI ST72, USP
