Job description
Cosmetic Physician Partners is building a premier network of Physician-led aesthetic clinics throughout the United States. We are seeking an Aesthetics professional to support our Eugene, OR partner, Dr. Lee B Daniel Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in the role of Medical Office Assistant.
The ideal candidate is looking to join an experienced team with a passion for collaboration and helping patients achieve their goals. Must have a love for the aesthetic industry, a willingness to learn and train, and an eagerness to build and grow with us!
Schedule: 3 to 4 days per week. Typically Monday, Wednesday & Thursday with one Friday per month. 20-24 hrs week
Responsibilities:
- Clean, stock & turnover exam rooms
- Prepare surgical bags for surgery center cases.
- Take photos for clinical record of before/after treatment or procedure
- Assist provider during examinations or procedures, when applicable
- Prepare charts, patient forms
- Sterilize instruments & autoclave maintenance
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
- Assists with Infection Control, Health and Safety compliance documentation and maintenance
- Keeps supplies ready by inventory, stocking, and placing orders
- Handles laundry, unpacking deliveries, and other day-to-day tasks as needed
- Administrative phone calls for patient information, insurance billing & processing
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certification - preferred
- 2 or more years of experience in a medical office working in a back-office and customer service role
- Excellent communication skills and follow-through
- Experience working in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery office preferred
- Familiar with EHR software for healthcare systems and basic office equipment
- Excellent customer service with a patient focus
