Job description
Be part of the engineering team creating health features on Watch. The Health Sensing team has a catalogue of health features we ship to customers every year. We’re looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring quality of these shipped features on newer version on Watch hardware and watchOS.
Key Qualifications
- Typically requires 2-6 years of experience as a QA experience
- Experience in programming Python and Shell
- Experience in hardware and/or embedded systems testing
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle
- Proven skill in bug hunting and regression analysis
- Great verbal and written communication skills
Description
Your responsibilities in this role include:
Owning quality of shipped algorithms that run on Watch
Timely test execution (automated and manual) and test results reporting
Debugging and troubleshooting of test failure through log analysis
Issue reporting through a bug tracking system
Test device preparation and test device rack monitoring & maintenance
Cross-functional communication to drive quality and stability of tests
Education & Experience
Additional Requirements
- Experience in developing test automation using Python
- Familiarity with health-regulated feature testing and documentation process
- Familiarity with digital signal processing
- Experience in executing and monitoring high volume of test suites
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300.00 and $241,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
