Job description
A Pharmacy Clerk job opportunity in Jeffersonville, IN is now available through Adecco Medical & Science.
Type: Contract, with potential for extension
Length: 3+ months
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 2nd shift, 2 pm - 10:30 am Mon - Thurs; and 11 am - 7:30 pm on Fridays
Pay: $20 to $22.50 per hour
In this role, you'll be responsible for the proper packing, shipping, and material handling needed for the delivery of specialty prescriptions for our members to ensure contents arrive safely and on-time. Positions in this function perform various duties related to the fulfillment of prescription orders.
Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Clerk:
• Processing, packing, and shipping outgoing pharmacy orders
• Warehouse duties, including proper storage of supplies
• Sorting and loading packages
• Restocking of supplies
• Following SOPs to complete job tasks
• Managing patient PHI
• Maintaining clean work areas
Qualifications for the Pharmacy Clerk:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
• Prior experience in shipping/receiving
• Ability to stand for the entire shift
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to achieve performance matrix, and quality expectations

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.50 per hour
