Infosys is seeking Senior GCP Developer
In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in.NET application. You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including elicitation, application architecture, definition, and design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of
Westlake/Austin TX or Lone Tree, CO or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technologies.
•Excellent knowledge in .Net 4.6+, Web API, RESTful services, worker/windows service, NoSQL DB
Preferred Qualifications: •At least 4 to 8 years of experience in .Net 4.6+, .NET application development, Web API, RESTful services.
•At least 4 to 6 years of experience with.NET application development with at least 3 years of experience with google cloud platform.
•Experience in migrating on-premises workloads to google cloud platform.
•Experience in migrating .NET applications into google cloud platform and maintaining.
•Experience in containerizing the workloads to run on cloud.
•Ability to design, develop, and manage robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions for cloud.
•Experience in designing, developing .NET applications as well as migrating .NET applications to cloud.
•Ability to understand google cloud architecture and hands-on experience with google kubernetes engine, cloud run, google compute Engine.
•Experience on the following concepts network, peering, firewalls, storage, Identity and access management on cloud.
•Ability to create a migration plan (including architectural diagrams) moving existing on-premises application and data to cloud.
•Experience on security using capabilities like Identity and access management (IAM), resource hierarchy (organizations, folders, projects), data security (key management, encryption, secret management).
•Experience on Kafka, JIRA, Bamboo, Bitbucket will be an advantage.
•Experience in agile development methodology and unit testing frameworks
•Google Professional Cloud (Developer or Architect) certification is mandatory.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
