What’s a typical day as a Manufacturing Associate? You’ll be:
• Performing various operations in the fabrication of intraocular lenses according to production specifications and standards.
• Conducting lens machining, lens polishing, finished production inspections, and primary packaging.
• Ensuring product meets all acceptable criteria per SOPs.
• Following all FDA/CGMP regulations regarding traceability and safety procedures.
• Supporting, encouraging, and participating in team-related activities.
• Assisting in training manufacturing associates using prescribed training methods and tools.
• Reporting unusual conditions and problems to supervisors and manufacturing leads.
• Practicing good housekeeping.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Have one or more years of manufacturing-related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have IOL manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Have knowledge of clean-rooms and proper clean-room behavior (preferred).
