Job description
- A Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field with over 7 years of experience in software development and/or automated testing utilizing emerging tools and technologies or
- A Masters degree in computer science with over 5 years of experience in software development and/or automated testing using new tools/technologies.
Essential Skills:
Leadership Abilities:
- Proficient in leading teams comprising 48 SDETs.
- Ability to construct teams and recruit additional SDETs as required for assigned work streams.
- Collaboration with other teams for integration and endtoend testing.
- Mentorship and collaboration with junior team members as necessary.
- Assuming responsibility for releases from a quality perspective assessing risks to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
- Complete regression automation with reduced turnaround time for releases.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals including algorithm design problemsolving complexity analysis and data structures.
- Understanding of testing processes test types test design and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in Java and TypeScript programming languages.
- Competence in UI automation using Playwright and Selenium.
- Experience in crafting and developing automation frameworks and test suites.
- Familiarity with SQL and API testing.
- Certified AWS developer or a demonstrated commitment to obtaining certification.
- Proficiency in performance testing with Gatling.
