Job description
High and Rubish Insurance Agency is a well-established, independent agency in Chapel Hill looking for a motivated individual to support our personal lines team with daily operations and customer service. This is a part-time position with the potential to develop into a full-time role.
PRIMARY ROLE:
Assisting personal lines account managers with day-to-day maintenance and servicing of assigned accounts.
DUTIES (including but not limited to):
- Providing excellent customer service to clients by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Assisting account managers in preparing and maintaining client files, organizing documentation, and gathering client information
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
- Building relationships with customers, marketing representatives, and underwriters to help our team grow
- Keeping up-to-date on industry trends, changes, and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Relevant customer service and problem-solving experience
- Excellent time management, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
