Job description
Group 81 - The Advanced Materials and Microsystems Group combines chemistry, biology, materials science, electronics, optics, photonics, microfluidics, nanofabrication, and advanced textiles to develop new technologies for a range of applications. We are growing our team of experts especially skilled in materials synthesis and development of miniature, low-power systems with unusual transduction mechanisms and form factors, such as marbles, threads, and disks. You will join a team of people whose combined expertise ranges from system analysis to circuit design to microfabrication to polymer chemistry, and work in state-of-the-art laboratories, including a 90 nm CMOS fabrication facility and an advanced functional fiber drawing facility. The successful candidate will have demonstrated underlying skills in at least one of the fundamental disciplines, have some experience in a hands-on laboratory setting, and be enthusiastic and able to learn the specialized skills needed to develop novel microsystems and materials. They will have demonstrated ability to work with and communicate well with multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and technicians, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Requirements:Job tags
