Description:
Our client is currently seeking an HR Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues.
- Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, and compensation.
- Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, and counseling staff, which includes performance reviews.
- Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions.
- Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating the corporate employee handbook.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities.
- Benefits administration includes reconciling monthly insurance bills.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience working in Human Resources, for an organization of 100+ employees.
- SHRM Certification preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable in Human Resources administration, organization, and operation.
- Strong leadership skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
