What You Will Be Doing

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Assumes responsibility of leading execution of day-to-day activities of audit engagements in the Employee Benefit Plan space
- Responsible for managing staff, completing review to ensure high quality as well as adherence to both professional and regulatory standards.
- Demonstrates knowledge of audits for retirement plans including 401(k), 403(b), Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit
- Coaches, guides, and provides feedback to Staff Associates and/or interns while simultaneously managing multiple engagements
- Interacts with clients' key management to gather information and resolve audit-related problems

What You Need for this Position

- 4+ years of experience in Employee Benefit Plans and/or external audit experience in public accounting firm(s)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
- CPA certified or in process of obtaining CPA certification within agreed upon time frame
- Experience in leading teams and/or direct supervision of employees while managing multiple engagements
