Job description
Presently, we are seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant who will provide general office support for the Office of Youth and Young Adult, RCIA, and the Office of Discipleship Formation for Children. The position is part-time, approximately 12 hours per week with two weekend events. This is for a time period of approximately 3 months (March-June).
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide administrative, secretarial and general office support
- Handle all aspects of events including scheduling, registrations, printing materials for events, and catering requests
- Input receivables and billing
- Issue monthly newsletters from the offices
- Maintain facilities calendar
- Performs other related duties as directed
The ideal candidate will be a practicing Roman Catholic with a working knowledge of Catholic teaching and tradition; demonstrate a strong attention to detail; possess solid PC skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Publisher; have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work well independently.
