Job description
We are a leading manufacturer and distributor of a variety of top global brands. We are seeking an Accounting Manager to provide financial support to our organization. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and taxes. In addition, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial policies and procedures, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and taxes
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports
- Oversee and manage full month end close.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies
- Monitor and analyze financial data
- Provide guidance and support to departmental personnel
- Maintains desktop procedures and manuals.
- Assist CFO in special project as needed.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
- 6+ years of related experience
- 3+ years experience with a distribution company
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP accounting software
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
