As a Renewal Specialist at CDW, focused exclusively on the Cisco services portfolio, you’ll play a vital role in the customer relationship process. Calling upon, leveraging, and ultimately strengthening existing relationships, we’ll look to you to proactively contact customers to renew their Cisco contracts, upselling and cross-selling product options when appropriate.
As part of the CDW Cisco team, you will also help streamline sales processes with the partner and participate in both internal account manager and external customer-facing education sessions on the value of Cisco services and the many resources available to them.
What you’ll do
- Quotes Cisco renewals proactively 60-90 days in advance including takeover deals and multi-year services on product requirements.
- Responsible for reviewing quotes and configurations to identify potential add-on opportunities
- Liaison between Account managers and Cisco for special pricing requirements and broader account strategy; recommend and implement the final pricing strategy
- Present renewal quotes to the customer, overcoming objections and adjusting proposal as required to ensure best solution is presented to the customer
- Manage lead lists/renewal portals to maximize time, effort and sales and pipeline of quotes/orders
- Analyzing CDW’s Cisco sales and the Canadian IT marketplace to find opportunities to drive more business
- Engage with and cultivate relationships with Cisco employees to drive business
- Conducts conference calls and customer presentations as necessary
- Administers and manages various Cisco tools in coordination with CDW sales teams
- Tracks and manages sales forecasts in CRM for Cisco services opportunities
- Obtains relevant industry and partner certifications and attends approved outside trainings
- Works with other departments at CDW to further relationships with customers, partners and account managers and overall service delivery excellence
- Responsible for answering presales technical questions pertaining to Cisco Services; be an expert on all Cisco Services
