Medical Laboratory Technician

Are you a detailoriented qualityfocused Medical Laboratory Technician seeking an opportunity in Clifton NJ
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this role you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of patient test results.

Responsibilities:
Perform specimen handling and processing test analyses reporting and maintain records of patient test results.
Ensure proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens.
Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
Review and release test results.
Adhere to CLIA HIPAA OSHA and safety guidelines.
Implement quality control policies and document all quality control activities.
Identify and troubleshoot problems that may affect test performance.
Report critical results to clients.
Answer questions from customers and lab personnel.
Maintain complete records of all testing performed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Manage reagent inventory and expiration dates.
Attend monthly department meetings and training sessions.
Participate in safety training and maintain knowledge of safety procedures and equipment.
Perform moderatecomplexity testing with onsite training.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
13 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
Strong proficiency in CLIA HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problemsolving skills.
