Position Snapshot:
As the Senior Director of People & Culture reporting directly to the COO, you will be a strategic partner and innovator. This role is about being a forward-thinking leader, fostering growth, and shaping the future of our workforce. You will play a crucial role in crafting our talent management strategies, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and fostering a culture of engagement and excellence. What You Will Do: - Provide HR leadership, focusing on advanced talent management strategies, organizational development, and effective coaching.
- Develop and execute innovative talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies, aligning them with our corporate goals.
- Serve as a critical advisor and strategic partner to senior leadership, offering insights and challenging traditional approaches to ensure alignment with our progressive vision.
- Lead company culture initiatives, aligning employee engagement with our values and mission.
Key Activities: - Lead initiatives to develop and enhance organizational capabilities, focusing on operational efficiency and growth support.
- Oversee recruitment, ensuring creative approaches in job description development, candidate sourcing, and assessment.
- Maintain and enhance our competitive compensation and benefits packages, ensuring they align with market trends and company objectives.
- Strategically evolve and articulate HR policies and guidelines that help advance our corporate goals and nurture our culture.
- Address employee relations issues effectively and provide conflict resolution strategies.
- Lead the Performance Management Program focusing on transparency, training, and employee development.
- Actively evaluate and enhance HR systems and processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
What You Will Bring: - At least 12+ years in Human Resources, in Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology sectors.
- Exceptional ability to think strategically and articulate a clear vision for human capital in the organization.
- Demonstrated skills in creating and managing a diverse and inclusive work environment that enables all individuals to contribute to their full potential.
- Deep knowledge in organizational design, change management, and talent management principles.
- Experience in developing HR strategies that align with overall business goals and the agility to adapt to changing environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex HR strategies to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to use data and analytics to inform HR strategies and measure the impact of HR initiatives.
- Expertise in identifying and mitigating risks within the HR function, maintaining compliance, and ensuring organizational resilience.
- Understanding of HR budgeting and financial planning as it relates to workforce planning and development.
- Experience as part of a senior leadership team, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor.
- An advanced degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Work Environment: This role requires an on-site presence at our Foster City headquarters.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $225K to $265K + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
