Warehouse Supervisor
M-Edge Intl. and parent firm, World Richman Mfg. Corp serve mid-to-large retail channel clientele as both a branded and OEM manufacturer focused on the ever-evolving, innovative consumer goods landscape.
We are seeking an agile individual with experience in the day-to-day and supervisory functions of warehousing and product fulfillment operations at our headquarters in Elgin, IL.
The right person will help plan the expansion of our warehouse operations to include an updated inventory automation RFID/barcode tracking for and all other aspects of a full-service internal warehouse operation.
With the upcoming launch of our new order mgmt solution, the Warehouse Supervisor will work in tandem with our current, seasoned warehouse employee in the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Must Have Existing Authorization to Work in the USA. Start Date: Feb 2024.
Full-time, Monday - Friday (std business hours with occasional extended hours/days ).
On-Site at our headquarters in Elgin, IL.
Pay: $47,000 - $54,000 commensurate with experience / competencies.

Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating in the adoption of new goods and work flows to our existing warehouse.
- Setup/support up RFID, scanning, and similar automation tools and tracking solutions.
- Initiating, coordinating, and responsible for operational policies and procedures.
- Managing warehouse ops in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Overseeing and participating in receipt, stocking, and inventory control/reconciliation utilizing our ERP solution.
- Communicating with transportation companies, drivers, and freight forwarders.
- Supervising and actively participating in daily warehouse activities, logistics, and shipping.
- Managing incoming EDI and manual orders; and recording shipment data into ERP system.
- Ensuring compliance to customers’ routing guides to minimize chargebacks and violations.
- Maintaining acceptable safety standards.
Requirements and Skills include:
- Preference for certificate or bachelor's degree. Will consider 3+ yrs of proven experience in warehouse operations supervisory level role.
- Must be comfortable/experienced with technology tools and software based solutions (evaluation will be required)
- Proficiency with standard warehouse procedures, policies, best practices, and safety.
- Hands on experience with warehouse management or ERP software.
- Direct experience with LTL and Small Parcel fulfillment and carrier interaction.
- Understanding of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Strong ability to manage time and solve problems towards broader decision making.
- Clear and effective communications (phone, email, and in person) internally and externally.
- Must be an active, positive team player and possess a high level of emotional maturity.
Physical Requirements and Essential Functions:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to pull/push heavy loads and repetitive handling of products.
- Ability to operate facility equipment required for role. Forklift certification/experience.
- Physical evaluation to test the ability to perform job requirements may be conducted.
