Overview:
At our company, we're seeking a passionate Jr. Community Manager to join our team. As a subject matter expert on our clients' products, you'll play a crucial role in empowering and supporting users on our Community Discussions platform. This dedicated space fosters one-to-many conversations, including Q&A sessions, official announcements, threaded conversations during events, access to best practice resources, and avenues for valuable product feedback. It's a dynamic environment where members build networks, learn from each other, and contribute invaluable insights to the company's growth.
Responsibilities:
As a Jr. Community Manager, you'll be an integral part of our team, responsible for managing discussions content and fostering an inclusive environment where all customers can thrive. Your key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining trust with our users by promptly responding to feedback and inquiries within the categories you manage.
- Encouraging user participation and retention, driving value for our global community of users.
- Demonstrating a passion for being a community and customer advocate, actively seeking innovative ways to support our users.
- Collaborating across teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Executing content and product release processes to share timely updates within the Community Discussions platform.
- Partnering with Community Program Managers to develop and implement community engagement strategies.
- Measuring success and interpreting community data to drive actionable conclusions and program updates.
- Managing day-to-day operations, including responding to user questions, managing spam, updating canned responses, and maintaining documentation critical to our success.
- Authoring posts on trending topics, new releases, and notable content within your categories.
- Executing the community team platform strategy, roadmap, and success metrics.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following:
- Proficiency in GitHub, content calendar management, and PowerBI.
- Experience working in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, technical support, and online community management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate recommendations and solutions.
- Ability to develop and implement creative solutions and influence others in their adoption.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage cross-functional deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
- 2 years of experience in online community management, working with various online community platforms and tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate recommendations and solutions with customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and implement creative solutions and influence others in their adoption.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage cross-functional deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
