Job description
We are currently accepting applications for a Beautician within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. This position requires dedication to a job well done, dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude is a must. Must enjoy working with our residents and families.
We are a subsidiary of Crowne Health Care, an Alabama-based system of family-owned nursing facilities. We pride ourselves on our competitive wages and the high number of long-term committed employees.
Typical pay of $15-$60 per person depending on service. This is a contract position.
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed Beautician in good standing and meet all applicable state certification requirement.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience or completion of appropriate training program
- Completion of elementary education, ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
- Must speak and understand English
- A positive attitude towards the elderly
Responsibilities:
- To perform direct patient care duties of shampoo, set and roll, dry, curl, color, press, perm, cut, all hair types; shave; pedicures; and manicures. To assist maintaining a positive physical, social and psychological environment for the residents.
- Ability to write and keep records such as logs and/ or schedule.
- The schedule is determined by a self-scheduling of designated day(s).
