About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and visionary Chief Marketing Officer to join our team. As the driving force behind our marketing strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand positioning within the beauty industry. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead initiatives that inspire individuals to embrace their unique beauty and solidify our position as a pioneer and market leader in online beauty.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute an innovative marketing strategy that resonates with our values and mission of celebrating diversity and individuality in beauty.
Team Empowerment: Lead, mentor, and motivate a dynamic team of approximately 60 marketing professionals across North and Latin America, fostering a culture of collaboration and creativity.
Campaign Development: Conceptualize and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that amplify our brand identity and resonate with our target audience.
Marketing Activations: Plan and implement marketing activations aligned with key ecommerce events to enhance engagement and brand visibility across all touchpoints.
Organic Growth: Drive social media and creator partnership strategies to enhance member acquisition and engagement, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize content strategies.
Creative Excellence: Lead creative and production teams to ensure consistent and compelling brand representation across all marketing materials.
Brand Development: Establish key performance indicators and utilize market insights to refine our brand positioning, driving expansion and market share in both existing and emerging markets.
Team Building: Cultivate a diverse and inclusive work environment, fostering talent development and collaboration within the marketing team.
Budget Management: Develop and oversee marketing budgets to ensure optimal resource allocation and cost-effective strategies.
Advocacy: Serve as a passionate advocate for our brand both internally and externally, sharing our story and values with stakeholders.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a CMO in a digital or ecommerce company, demonstrating a track record of effective leadership and team management.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Expertise in brand strategy and community building, with a keen ability to translate ideas into impactful marketing initiatives.
Strong analytical skills coupled with a creative mindset, capable of identifying and capitalizing on emerging trends in the beauty industry.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire teams and drive cross-functional collaboration.

For United States Remote Roles: Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to certain states.
Salary Range: $400,000 - $450,000 USD
