Position Overview:

As the Lead Business Analyst for Educator Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to cultivate a pipeline of qualified K-12 teachers and elevate the teaching profession. Your responsibilities will revolve around gathering, analyzing, and presenting data on our various products and business functions.

Working closely with Educator Solutions leadership, product managers, and cross-functional partners, you will have the autonomy to tailor your work to meet business needs. This will involve understanding the desired business outcomes and employing your analytical prowess to collect and analyze data effectively, ultimately producing valuable insights and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the K-12 Leadership Team to define, measure, analyze, and enhance the performance of our Praxis teacher licensure business.
Develop executive-ready presentations summarizing and explaining planned and actual business results.
Utilize tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, Power BI, and others to create visualizations and dashboards of pertinent business metrics.
Document data flows between various databases and tools to ensure clarity on key metrics' technical definitions and sources.
Aggregate data from diverse sources using BI tools, SQL, or Excel as needed.
Assist research and partnership teams in understanding customer profiles and analyzing longitudinal engagement with Praxis and related educational opportunities.
Support business, marketing, and product teams in measuring key initiatives, including setting up tracking instrumentation and defining KPIs.
Aid business leadership and finance in maintaining and updating business forecasts and related documentation.
Uphold the highest ethical standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements:

Minimum of 8+ years of prior experience in business, finance, or data roles.
Experience in an education-oriented business.
Proficiency in analyzing business data using Excel and SQL.
Demonstrated ability to set up web analytics and build dashboards in Google Analytics.
Familiarity with marketing data and technology, including SEO, channel attribution, and email marketing.
Strong knowledge of Excel, with expertise in data analysis using formulas, charts, and pivot tables.
Proficient in designing slides and communicating effectively in PowerPoint.
Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker, along with their underlying data structures.
Experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for web event tracking and dashboard creation.
Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of the US Teacher Licensure market.
Experience with study-oriented or test-preparation products.
Familiarity with Python or R and advanced statistical analysis techniques.
Knowledge of modern web analytics tools beyond Google Analytics.
Experience in a business leveraging Generative Artificial Intelligence.
