Senior Accountant
Southlake, TX - On-site
Searching to add to their team, growing company in North Dallas is searching for a strong Senior Accountant due to a promotion. Qualified candidate will have at least 3 years of full-cycle accounting, acquisition experience is a plus.
$80-95k 20% bonus Company offers: proven growth track, positive work/life balance (40 hour weeks), CPA support, competitive bonus and benefits
Responsibilities: - Multi-location, full-cycle accounting
- Ensure success of month-end close, preparing journal entries, complex reconciliations
- Analyze account trends and review accounts for errors, completing adjustments when needed
- Prepare financial statements and monthly reporting requirements
- Communicate with stakeholders to walk through financials, answer questions and explain discrepancies – providing high-touch customer service
- Assist in ERP implementation, testing and process improvement
- Work with Controller to ensure compliance (assist with audit, finance and tax)
- Complete monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc management reporting
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications: - 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, MBA is a plus
- Public accounting preferred
- CPA or CPA eligible
- Major ERP system required, intermediate Excel
- Thorough understanding of GAAP
- Auditing skills, ability to reconcile difficult accounts
- Display ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Team player who works well in a changing environment
