Job Title: Contract Specialist - Government

Job Description:

Sumaria’s C5ISR Team is seeking a Contract Specialist to be located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. This position will provide a wide range of Management support for USAF and FMS programs managed by the AFLCMC/WI Directorate, AFLCMC/WIN Division, and specific programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the Contracting Officer (CO) with preparing contracts and modifications, distributing contract documentation, supporting contract closeout, collecting data for audit and/or report requests.
• Support with coordinating with other Government agencies ((i.e., Defense Financial Accounting System (DFAS)).
• Support with creating, retrieving and requesting contracting reports.
• Support with preparing source selection material and track contract milestones.
• Assist with efficiently awarding and distributing contracts, delivery orders, and modifications with obligation amounts.
• Support tasks through the use of software programs/databases ((i.e., Contracting Writing System (ConWrite) or (CON-IT), FedBizOpps, Electronic Document Access (EDA), Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG), System for Award Management (SAM) and AF Data Services)).
• Apply knowledge and experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DoD FAR Supplement (DFARS), Air Force FAR Supplements (AFFARS), Informational Guidance (IG), as well as other applicable documents and regulations, systems, and guides, as required.

Required Skills/Education:

• Possess proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Application Suite
• Possess proficiency in the use of ConWrite or CON-IT, SAM (System Award Management)
• FedBizOpps, EDA, FPDS-NG, (Preferred)
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Some knowledge and experience in the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) domain and associated sensors (Preferred)

Education: Possess one of the following education and experience combinations:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience (15+ years preferred), including 5 supporting the DoD
• Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience (12+ years preferred)
• OR, 14+ years of experience (20+ years preferred), including 5 supporting the DoD
