Job description
Position Overview: The Technical Sales Representative-Industrial Coating is responsible for providing sales and account management services for customers in the industrial coating and manufacturing industries. The Technical Sales Representative will use their knowledge of coatings to develop new products, design and develop solutions to exceed customer expectations, and provide technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and build relationships with current and potential customers.
- Present product demonstrations and discuss the features and benefits of industrial coating solutions.
- Provide technical expertise in the areas of product design and application.
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet customer requirements and maximize revenues.
- Prepare quotes, tenders, and proposals.
- Develop marketing strategies to grow the customer base.
- Attend and participate in industry events and conferences.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, materials science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the industrial coating and manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of coatings and their applications.
- Strong sales, customer service, and account management skills.
- Ability to effectively present products and services.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
