Job description

Our organization is looking for a creative Video Editor to produce media content to promote our products. You will be responsible for editing video footage and sound to meet the specific approval of an assigned project. In this role you should be highly organized with a keen attention to details and deadlines. Your goal will be to create media that captures viewer interest meets target objectives and fits within the companys editing style.

Responsibilities :

* Meeting with the director to determine production vision.
* Reviewing raw material to determine the short list.
* Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques.
* Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value.
* Trimming footage and putting together the rough project.
* Inserting dialog sound effects music graphics and special effects.
* Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence.
* Consulting with the director and production team throughout the project.
* Creating the final cut for broadcasting.

Requirements:
* 2 years of video editing experience in a fulltime position in a corporate or agency environment.
* Previous work experience as a video editor.
* Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign) and Frame IO (or similar project management tool) is a plus.
* A deep technical knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
* Proficiency using Adobe After Effects to create title animations generate compositing screen replacement picture clean up rotoscope tracking etc.
* A detailed knowledge of technical video information such as codecs frame rate resolution/compression proxy & offline workflows.
* Creative and artistic skills.
* Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
