SUMMARY
The Live TV Marketing Manager will play a key role on Hulu’s Live TV Content Partnerships team and Brand Marketing team. Reporting into the Senior Team Lead, Live & Licensed Marketing, you’ll be responsible for creating the strategy and executing integrated marketing plans supporting some of the biggest live sports and events on Hulu + Live TV. You’ll help lead partnerships with prominent Live TV content partners to elevate awareness of and engagement with our Live TV content, as well as support the execution of 360 Live TV brand campaigns. The role will require excellent leadership and communication skills, a creative and collaborative mindset and a passion for Live TV and Sports
marketing.
The ideal candidate should love TV, especially sports with a wealth of knowledge on various leagues and players. Prior experience in sports marketing is desired. The candidate should be a proactive self-starter, have a great attitude, exemplary communication skills and collaborate with different functions. Partner marketing skills and knowledge of working with strategy, media, creative and
consumer insights is desired. The Live TV Marketing Manager will work with many Hulu and The Walt Disney Company teams, including Live TV Content Partnerships, Media, Creative, PR, CRM, Social, CMI, Growth, Engagement, Product and more.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
● Manage external Live TV content partner relationships and support our partners in achieving mutually beneficial business objectives, as well as managing the partner approval process.
● Serve as campaign lead to develop the strategy and launch plans for key live sports, live content and live events throughout the year that activate against our business goals (driving awareness, familiarity, acquisition, engagement).
● Support the Senior Team Lead with the execution of 360 Live TV brand marketing campaigns.
● Brief in-house or external agencies and develop custom creative ideas and assets for campaigns that will drive linkage to Hulu + Live TV and hit KPIs.
● Work cross-functionally to achieve business goals, including collaborating with Live TV Content Partnerships, Media, Creative, PR, CRM, Social, CMI, Growth, Engagement and more.
● Compile metrics, data and analysis on campaigns and offer suggestions for optimization.
● Help manage the Live TV marketing budget and generate detailed resource plans.
● Keep a pulse on the larger Live TV ecosystem and sports culture, identifying white space opportunities to activate around.
QUALIFICATIONS/TRAITS
● 4+ years of professional experience working in a fast-paced environment, media/TV company a plus.
● A dedicated sports fan, knowledgeable about various leagues and players. Plugged into sports culture.
● Ability to empower others and get results through effective communication and problem-solving.
● Experience writing briefs, leading strategies, campaigns and partner relationships.
● Works exceptionally well with internal teams and external partners. Possesses outstanding organizational and time management skills.
● Proactive self-starter with the ability to think outside the box who loves strategy but also enjoysthe creative process and comfortable with data.
● Experience working for multicultural audiences and knowing their insights is a plus.
The hiring range for this position in CA is $92,800.00 to $124,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job tags
