About the Role

As the Web Designer, you will report to the Head of Product. You will use your prior web design and graphic design experience to create web pages and landing pages that engage Giftogram’s target audiences, drive web traffic, and provide an optimal user experience. You will use your knowledge of design principles to create visually appealing web pages with rich content and clear navigational schemes. 

What You’ll Do

• Help deliver and refine clear storytelling around Giftogram product needs and opportunities
• Support the implementation of best practices for branding and UX across all customer journeys and flows, in partnership with insights from research
• Work cross-functionally with the Marketing and Customer Success teams to balance user needs with business and performance goals
• Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams to propose, design, and run tests to improve site usability and performance
• Design and ship high-quality experience and design systems improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams and engineering

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field 
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, HTML, Shockwave, JavaScript, ASP pages, and SEO)
• 3-5 years of professional web design and graphic design experience
• Strong understanding of user interface design, design principles, typography, and color theory
• Ability to handle the management of multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, including branding, marketing collateral, web design, etc
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to clearly present and explain design concepts to cross functional teams
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience designing email campaigns using HTML

What We Offer

• Base Salary range $75,000 - $90,000 and a discretionary annual performance bonus
