Terms and Conditions: 11 months working year, 8 hours per day – flexible hours – must be able to work evening events.
Salary: $22.38 per hour, per current CPA Collective Bargaining Agreement (Grade 2). Includes full benefits package.

OPRF – WHO WE ARE… Oak Park and River Forest High School , or
OPRF , is a comprehensive public high school located in Oak Park, Ill., a suburb eight miles due west of downtown Chicago. We are a one-school district, with the majority of our students coming from two sender districts, River Forest Public Schools District 90 and Oak Park Elementary School District 97. We offer more than 200 courses, a variety of programs for students with special needs, 75 clubs and activities, and 29 competitive sports. We prepare our students well for post-secondary success, with an average ACT composite score of 24 and a 94% graduation rate.

- Prior experience with athletic uniform and equipment management
- Good time management skills, excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to work with various computer software to support the functions within the athletic department
- Capable of coordinating with various stakeholders
Position Summary: The Athletics Facilitator has the responsibility for maintenance, inventory and storage of all of the assigned athletic uniforms and equipment, as well as the set-up and break-down of equipment for games/events. In addition, the Athletics Facilitator will be responsible for developing a process for loss prevention of uniforms and managing all district athletic obligations.
Position Responsibilities: - Distribution and collection of all athletic uniforms to assigned student-athletes.
- Distribution and collection of all team equipment to assigned teams and coaches.
- Launder and inventory all assigned athletic uniforms at conclusion of each season.
- Maintenance of a computerized inventory of assigned uniforms and equipment.
- Manage all student-athlete obligations for lost/damaged items.
- Provide appropriate storage facilities for all equipment.
- Maintain equipment and make recommendations on new or replacement equipment as needed, and during the annual budget process.
- Manage the set-up and break-down of game-day equipment for specific events (volleyball, basketball) and for other events as directed by the Athletic Director (scoreboards, sound system, game balls, etc…)
- Supervise the officials and visiting team locker room areas during home volleyball and basketball games and for other events as directed by the Athletic Director.
- Respond to requests for historical information from various sources.
- Generate information using data mining.
- Perform related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Physical/Visual Demands: Some moderate lifting involved regarding game-day set-up and equipment deliveries.
Environmental Conditions: Working conditions will vary. Some work may occur outdoors and in inclement weather.
