What You Will Be Doing

As a Senior PLC Engineer you will play a pivotal role in our fulfillment and manufacturing operations, focusing on the development, maintenance, and optimization of our Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems. You will work on cutting-edge projects, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our fulfillment center and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. PLC Programming:

Design, develop, and implement PLC code for automation and control systems. Troubleshoot and modify existing PLC programs to enhance functionality and efficiency. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure PLC solutions align with project requirements.

2. Individual Contributor:

Work independently on PLC projects, taking ownership of design, coding, testing, and documentation. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on PLC best practices.

3. System Optimization:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization through PLC enhancements. Implement changes to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and reliability.

4. Strong Communication:

Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance. Present technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

5. Manufacturing Experience (Preferred):

Leverage your manufacturing knowledge to design PLC solutions tailored to our production environment. Collaborate with operations teams to address production challenges.

What You Need for this Position

-Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
-Extensive experience in PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens, or similar).
-Proficiency in ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text.
-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex PLC issues.
-Prior experience in fulfillment center and manufacturing environments is a plus.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
-Knowledge of HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems is a bonus.
