Job description
Franklin Country Club in Franklin MA is looking for a highly motivated Line Cooks to join our team. We are looking for the right candidates who take pride in their jobs to make best club food consistently for the club members and guests. Our menu varies from casual and informal to well thought-out composed entrees with delicate tastes.
Position Summary:
Daily food preparation working under pressure to meet the rigors of a busy operation, following standard recipes and technique.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Multi-task and use time management skills to complete all daily food preparation using proper knife skills and safety.
- Follow standard recipes and techniques set forth by Executive Chef when preparing each dish.
- Contribute to daily specials and menu items.
- Perform opening and closing duties while assisting other kitchen staff as needed.
- Work as a team to get all tickets and dishes out in an orderly fast-paced fashion while upholding standards set forth.
- Maintain a clean, organized and stocked station to work under the pressure to meet the rigors of a busy operation.
- Use proper safety protection when using chemicals. Following proper food and health sanitation policies at all times.
- Work as a team to complete all cleaning duties at the end of the night ensuring everything is properly set up for the next day.
- Be willing to help prep food for large functions or work a food station during member events.
- Maintains skills and is able to work in any of the cooking station as needed: Function, Prep, Sauté, Grill, Salads & desserts.
Salary commensurate with prior experience.
