Position Summary:
Performs indoor and outdoor general facility maintenance as well as a variety of specialized facility maintenance and building repairs. Must be able to proficiently use Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities:
- Perform variety of general and specialized facility maintenance and building repair.
- Responds to emergency repair or maintenance requests
- Execute corrective and preventative work orders as assigned
- Complete light bulb replacements, painting, furniture moves, installations, furniture assembly, basic carpentry, basic electrical and plumbing, replace ceiling tiles, install paper dispenser units, change filters, change locks on doors, complete decorative maintenance and others assignments as directed.
- Comply with all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA)
- Participate in Safety initiatives
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required,
- Completion of a building maintenance, HVAC or electrical program
- 3 years of experience in general maintenance and building repair; previous work in health care setting preferred.
- Strong work ethic and good cheerful attitude is required
- Must be assertive, and use good judgment
- Must be reliable and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good interpersonal skills; must be able to communicate effectively.
- Ability to interact with a diverse population
- Commitment to the mission of Care Alliance Health Center.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license with no more than 6 points
- References and background check required
Typical Working Conditions:
- Medical clinic/office environment
- May include an occasional evening or weekend
- Involves frequent contact with staff and clients
