Salary & Compensation Package: $47,230 per year Position Description:

We are looking for a self-starting, motivated person who excels at building relationships, enjoys sales, and marketing, and provides excellent customer service. If you have skills in marketing, management, budgeting, event planning, sales, fundraising, and customer service, and are comfortable with public speaking and interacting with diverse audiences, you should consider taking the opportunity to become a professional Scouter. A self-motivated individual with solid time-management skills and strong organizational skills will be successful in this role.

District Executives are a diverse group, sharing a dynamic career offering independence, achievement, and stability. The District Executive is the manager of a designated territory (called a district) consisting of multiple counties or population centers within the Greater St. Louis Area Council's 63 counties. We are looking for someone to take ownership of growing the district in the key areas of finance, membership, and volunteer development - this is not a clock-in clock-out type of job. This position provides a flexible schedule, the ability for remote work, and involves seasonal travel. If you want to make a difference and are energetic, thoughtful, highly personable in nature, have a positive attitude, and value exceptional service, quality work, and personal relationships, this may be the career for you.

Starting Pay and Benefits:

In addition to offering a competitive salary, Professional Scouting offers benefits including major medical insurance, prescription plan, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, and a 403(b)-retirement plan including a matching contribution plan from the company, as well as compensation for authorized and approved business-related expenses to include phone ($40 a month) and business mileage. We also offer a generous PTO policy (22 days) and several paid holiday observances. All councils are equal-opportunity employers.
