Event Specialist needed for an amazing Tech Firm.

Looking for a detail-oriented and relationship-focused professional to assume a leading role as an Event & Marketing & Specialist at an outstanding Tech Firm located in Albuquerque!

This confidential role entails developing and implementing a thorough marketing and promotions strategy, advocating for our client's brand, and elevating the team's value proposition.

Compensation for the Event Specialist : $23 - $25 per hour

Event Specialist is a Full-time – Contract to Hire

Shift and Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. – NON REMOTE!

Event Specialist r eports to the Assistant Controller.

Primary Responsibilities for the Event Specialist :

Event Coordination – with a WOW Factor:

• Organize seminars, tradeshows, meetings, quarterly in-person training sessions, and annual conferences.
• Travel to various events and tradeshows
• Execute consistent, timely, and effective internal promotions.
• Digital & Web Strategy – Brand Awareness:
• Manage the website and enhance user engagement.
• Coordinate content for the monthly newsletter.
• Implement advertising and press releases as needed.
• Package and promote marketing collateral.
• Develop and maintain a consistent and meaningful presence on social media.

Marketing/Promotions:

• Develop and execute tactical plans with timeliness and effectiveness in mind.
• Manage and communicate the agency's marketing calendar and events.
• Evaluate and measure the success of marketing initiatives.
• Possess basic design capabilities for creating/updating internal materials.
• Oversee the administration, planning, and processing of Manufacturer and Distributor Sales Market Development Funds (MDF) programs, including:
• Developing and submitting MDF plans to vendors
• Managing MDF claims submissions to vendors
• Monitoring and tracking payments • Administer Manufacturer Sales Rebate programs. • Collaborate closely with manufacturers and distributors to optimize the allocation of MDF marketing funds.

Qualifications/Skills for the Event Specialist :

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel.
• Working knowledge of computers and related products, software, and business processes preferred
• Public speaking and good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong focus on building and maintaining relationships.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Adaptability to changing environments.
• Attention to detail and adherence to timelines are imperative.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Proficiency in a design program such as Adobe, Canva, etc.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, serving as a member and a team leader.
